Songwriter, singer and pastor, Wale Adenuga recently released the official video for the song I DEPEND ON YOU.

Every great song has a story behind it. Wale shares how this song came about; “I recall going for a church leaders meeting and my senior pastor shared about how we can lean on what’s stronger than us. That thought stuck. This was on a Sunday afternoon. I woke up Monday morning with that thought still dominant in my head. I stole away into my room and started to write.”

Wale Adenuga said he had the overwhelming urge to keep the song as simple as possible. This simplicity is also carried over into the production of the official video for the song.

I DEPEND ON YOU is released at a time many in the land are going through a rough parch and this song and video serves as a song of hope in these interesting times.
