Johnson Olajide Peter, otherwise known as Jhiedy was born in Mushin Lagos Nigeria, he is the first son of four children born to Mr and Mrs Paul Oluwaseyi and Elizabeth Oluwatoyin Johnson. The dark skinned R&B Gospel crooner hails from Badagary Local Government Area (LGA) in Lagos State.

He attended Estate Primary School in Papa Ajao Mushin and later on went to Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar School at Empire in Surulere where he obtained his Senior Secondary school certificate and he pursued his dream of becoming one of the most formidable vocals in the Gospel World.

Jhiedy started singing at a tender age and believes he is destined to become a mega gospel super star, after many years of being inspired by music greats like Marvin Sapp, Don Moen, R-Kelly, Micheal W Smith and a few others he started writing his own songs and lacing lyrics to beats. In no time his insatiable and unquenchable passion for God, in his resolves to fulfill his dreams and a platform to express his God given talent and realize his dreams, he joined a Christ Embassy Church choir where he ministered as a back up vocalist and from there became the lead Praise and Worship leader thus gained more exposure to music.

Jhiedy has a powerful Voice and a stage presence that is equally large, Jhiedy Ministered at the 2013 International Pastors and Pastors Conference (I.P.P.C) with the Zone 3 choristers and took an amazing lead of their main song which has also further Exposed him to a World Audience.

Jhiedy has officially released a debute Single titled Faith Realm and he’s back again with yet another life impacting Thanksgiving Hit song titled “U Too Much”. in his words “God has been Awesome and there’s no better way to express my gratitude for all that He’s done than saying “Baba You Too Much” I am eternally grateful for all the Beautiful things that God has done, He’s doing and would still do!!!
